Father Edward M. Catich aka Fast Eddie, aka Father Fast Mass. He ruled the St. Ambrose Art Department with an iron fist. While most art professors would seek complimentary instructors, Catich chose sycophantic students from each decade to staff the department. Thirty years after he died, I heard professer Les Bell apologetically explain to an incoming class that he had "inherited the grading system from Father Catch."
